About Us

Our Story

In 1942, a group of believers began meeting in the original building, then known as “Beechwood Bible Chapel.” After a devastating fire, the doors to the current building opened in 1958 and the name was changed to “Brown’s Hill Bible Chapel” in 1980. The believers who met together sought to follow the New Testament principles established by the early church and 70 years later, we’re still committed to meeting in this way. Recognizing that much growth takes place in relationships and communities,  Brown’s Hill Bible Chapel is a nondenominational church dedicated to fostering relationships with God, one another and our local and worldwide communities.

Our Purpose

Our purpose at Brown’s Hill is to make the Gospel of Christ known, to strengthen fellow Christians through Bible teaching, prayer, worship, service and fellowship, and above all, to glorify God in all that we say and do.

Our sincere hope and prayer is that you and others may share in these blessings with us

Our Leadership

We believe in plurality of leadership, so our leadership team consists of a group of elders who equally share in and provide guidance and oversight for our congregation. The New Testament teaches the priesthood of all believers, who are gifted uniquely and serve in various roles and functions. With Jesus Christ as the Chief Shepherd and Head of the Church, the elders are dependent upon the Lord to guide them as they protect and lead the flock of believers at BHBC.
